We’re beyond excited to announce our new partnership with Ukrainian Action. Staying true to our mission of acting on urgent humanitarian issues, our partnership will allow our students a channel to actively support Ukrainians. Students can work with Ukrainian Action through our Student Impact Program.

Ukrainian Action’s founder, Jeff Hartman, has a special connection with Ukraine after living in Central Ukraine for several years as a Peace Corps Volunteer. He founded the NGO to help his friends who are struggling due to the war. Every week, the organization sends trucks of supplies that pass through the Ukrainian-Polish border. Since March, they have raised over $500,000, with 50 trucks delivering supplies to Kyiv, Central, and Western Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Action volunteers send and collect the supplies from all over the world. They have received supplies from over 450 donors and continue to receive and collect donations every week to maintain their support. Their inspiring journey– which has been entirely documented on their Instagram– has a wide network of supporters.

To expand their support, they have partnered with Water Mission, an NGO delivering emergency water treatment equipment and hygiene equipment to Ukraine. Their partnership has been effective in providing Ukrainians with The Living Water Treatment System, a miniature water treatment system that can purify water for up to 5,000 people per day.

Working with Ukraine Action is a great way for students to support Ukraine. Students can organize fundraisers, collect supplies, or assist them in building new partnerships. There are many ways to help, and our expert mentors can help you find a way to use your skills to make a tangible impact!
